For let the divine beings so speed me, as I love the name of respect more than I dread passing.; Brutus acts with the schemers just for what he thinks about the eventual benefits of Rome. Brutus gauges each choice he makes as indicated by his ethics and measures. He accepts that reason and rationale rule the world where individuals can be influenced by sound thinking. He is entirely noteworthy however he despite eve rything isn't set up for the debasement on the planet. He cannot accept that anybody would make a move without thinking the impacts that could occur. Brutus cannot see thought processes that are less respectable at that point is own, Well, Brutus, however workmanship respectable; yet I see thy fair strength might be created from that it is arranged; hence it is meet tat honorable personalities keep ever with their preferences; for who so from that can't be tempted?; Brutus commits two grave errors due to his high standards, he allows Antony to live and more terrible yet he lets him talk at the burial service of Caesar. At long last he falls on his blade, which conflicts with the vast majority of his gauges which says that men should take whatever destiny is given to them. In any case, in his last minutes he had the fulfillment of realizing that he remained by his standards as far as possible and he kicked the bucket by them. Be that as it may, totally different the nobleness of Brutus character is Cassius. He loathes Caesar and is a piece of the trick out of envy. The flaw, dear Brutus, isn't in our stars, yet in ourselves, that we are subordinates.; Besides desire, Cassius is persuaded by fondness. He would effectively get it, which is fairly untainted, and he detested anybody that would not give him consideration or that would remove it from him. His intentions in slaughtering Caesar are carefully for retribution or for individual increase. Contingent upon how an individual treated him or how the individual could help him Cassius could be savage or adoring, enthusiastic or far off, or delicate or unforgiving. Yond Cassius has a lea n and hungry look; he thinks excessively: such men are perilous.; In the end Cassius ends his life which is the main respectable thing that he did. He understood that he caused the demise of a companion and that he was the proportion of all things. This story is in reality about Brutus, it depicts his own battle of doing what is best for Rome or remaining faithful to his companion. Brutus respectably takes the method of sparing his cherished Rome. Brutus character is depicted in more profundity than some other and the story closes with his passing. Brutus was essentially unreasonably honorable for his time. He relinquished his companion for what was best for all. He stayed devoted to his standards until the end. Everybody in Rome appreciated this man, and they ached for his fellowship, and at one point in the play the individuals needed Brutus to become lord. The two of them had two entirely unexpected purposes behind slaughtering Caesar, however Brutus was blinded by his ethics. Cassius removed part in the death from desire and retribution. All through the play Cassius stays uninterested in the attitude in which he got individuals to join the schem e. He didnt care as long as he got them to do what he needed. Brutus recognized what Cassius was doing yet he let his ethics conceal him from reality. .ufe4cbaf10f87eb18a6b677096e798613 , .ufe4cbaf10f87eb18a6b677096e798613 .postImageUrl , .ufe4cbaf10f87eb18a6b677096e798613 .focused content zone { min-stature: 80px; position: relative; } .ufe4cbaf10f87eb18a6b677096e798613 , .ufe4cbaf10f87eb18a6b677096e798613:hover , .ufe4cbaf10f87eb18a6b677096e798613:visited , .ufe4cbaf10f87eb18a6b677096e798613:active { border:0!important; } .ufe4cbaf10f87eb18a6b677096e798613 .clearfix:after { content: ; show: table; clear: both; } .ufe4cbaf10f87eb18a6b677096e798613 { show: square; change: foundation shading 250ms; webkit-progress: foundation shading 250ms; width: 100%; darkness: 1; change: mistiness 250ms; webkit-progress: haziness 250ms; foundation shading: #95A5A6; } .ufe4cbaf10f87eb18a6b677096e798613:active , .ufe4cbaf10f87eb18a6b677096e798613:hover { obscurity: 1; progress: murkiness 250ms; webkit-progress: obscurity 250ms; foundation shading: #2C3E50; } .ufe4cbaf10f87eb18a6b677096e798613 .focused content zone { width: 100%; position: relative; } .ufe4cbaf10f87eb18a6b677096e798613 .ctaText { fringe base: 0 strong #fff; shading: #2980B9; text dimension: 16px; textual style weight: striking; edge: 0; cushioning: 0; content improvement: underline; } .ufe4cbaf10f87eb18a6b677096e798613 .postTitle { shading: #FFFFFF; text dimension: 16px; text style weight: 600; edge: 0; cushioning: 0; width: 100%; } .ufe4cbaf10f87eb18a6b677096e798613 .ctaButton { foundation shading: #7F8C8D!important; shading: #2980B9; outskirt: none; fringe sweep: 3px; box-shadow: none; text dimension: 14px; textual style weight: intense; line-tallness: 26px; moz-fringe span: 3px; content adjust: focus; content beautification: none; content shadow: none; width: 80px; min-tallness: 80px; foundation: url(https://artscolumbia.org/wp-content/modules/intelly-related-posts/resources/pictures/basic arrow.png)no-rehash; position: total; right: 0; top: 0; } .ufe4cbaf10f87eb18a6b677096e798613:hover .ctaButton { foundation shading: #34495E!important; } .ufe4cbaf10f87eb1 8a6b677096e798613 .focused content { show: table; stature: 80px; cushioning left: 18px; top: 0; } .ufe4cbaf10f87eb18a6b677096e798613-content { show: table-cell; edge: 0; cushioning: 0; cushioning right: 108px; position: relative; vertical-adjust: center; width: 100%; } .ufe4cbaf10f87eb18a6b677096e798613:after { content: ; show: square; clear: both; } READ: Szcsenyi krisztina EssayEven however every character attempted to be something that they were not, Brutus was the sad legend of the play by Shakespeare. Although many countries have managed to implement the clinical governance in most health care institutions, there is still a major challenge to change clinical governance and make it a daily reality. To achieve this, all the health care providers are required to have good hands to implement this initiative. As Cathy (2007) points out, clinical governance is a framework that assists medical practitioners to improve quality and safeguard standards of care to patients.Policies in H ward in Jacaranda HospitalAccording to Sullivan (2008), whenever a company or an institution is being set up, the directors are required to formulate certain policies that will help in the growth and progress of such a company. These policies are the guidelines that set the extent of companyà ¢Ã¢â ¬s operations. Therefore, in the management of H ward in Jacaranda Hospital, a number of policies have to be formulated to make sure that patients from all walks of life feel comfortable when nurses are attending to them. Some of these policies include:-Improving the quality of patients policyPerkins (2006) has observed that when patients go to various hospitals, their main objective is to receive medical care. However, he laments that some of these health care institutions are profit minded and thus would offer low quality services at the expense of the patients. Therefore, in the H ward in Jacaranda Hospital, more emphasis will be put to ensure that patients receive the utmost care. This will not only improve their confidence in the hospital but will also improve the reputation of the hospital across the country. Freeman (2006) justifies that in order to improve the quality of the patients, health care providers need to undertake refresher courses that will keep them up to date with the current events in the medical field. As a result, the personnel involved in the management of the H ward at Jacaranda Hospital will be required to attend these courses to help them improve their service delivery to patients. As a result, patients will at ease while sharing their experiences with the nurses attending to them.Partnerships between all stakeholders PolicyAccording to Gurbutt (2011), patients are the backbone of any health care institutions. It is for this reasons that he demand that all the stakeholders such as nurses agree on the way forward to improve the operations in a hospital. He argues that a hospital that operates as one man show has difficulties in addressing patientsà ¢Ã¢â ¬ needs. It is for this reason that H ward at Jacaranda Hospital would be set up on the background of involving all the stakeholders including the patients. This hospital will place suggestion boxes at strategic points where patients can fill and drop them in a particular area. This will help the hospital management identify the pressing issues amongst patients so that such can be addressed as fast as possible.Complaints policyJoanne (2008) argues that, an effective organization sets up an office where clients can report complains. According to him, this is one of the ways through which service delivery to clients is enhanced. He points out that the nurses and other employees of such institutions have to attend their customers with utmost politeness because if such isnà ¢Ã¢â ¬t the case, customers can report them to the seniors. In addition, Meakins (2011) says that all employees are required to hang their job cards around their necks for identification by clients. Hospitals are places where people from all walks of life frequent to access medical care. Amongst these people are the smokers and the non smokers. In order to protect the non smokers, the hospital will introduce this policy so that the environment within the hospital is friendly to all the people. According to Gask (2008), in some countries across the world, smoking in public areas is a criminal offence. Furthermore, he laments that smoking affects both the smoker and the person close to him or her. The affected person is commonly referred to as the secondary smoker. As a hospital, we will try and put posters on the hospital walls informing the public the dangers associated with smoking and the merits of quitting smoking. This will not only reduce the number of smokers, but also bring down the diseases associated with smoking.Clinical GovernanceAccording to Smith (2006), an effective and efficient clinical governance should embrace the following principles to achieve its objectives; Enabling administrative of clinical reviews, building different ideas to achieve a successful initiative, embedding a transformative partnership which will enable better outcomes for patients, each clinician to have a goal of maintaining high levels of quality and safety in his or her work. As the leader of this hospital, decisions affecting the hospital will be deliberated upon prior to approval. This will help bring consensus amongst thos e people who might think that their ideas have been ignored or disregarded. In addition, professionalism in handling of patientsà ¢Ã¢â ¬ records will be introduced.Swanwick (2011) has observed that there are health institutions that are still filing patientsà ¢Ã¢â ¬ records. He says that in case of a fire outbreak, such records can be lost. As a result, the hospital loses the data and hence not in a position to follow up the progress of their patients. In order to improve on this weakness, there will be an introduction of computerized system where all patientsà ¢Ã¢â ¬ data will be stored. A back up of this data would be kept separately to ensure if the original data is corrupted a back up will be available. Davie (2009) argues that effective clinical governance is paramount; to make sure that a health care institution continues improving the quality and care it offers to its patients. In addition, helpful clinical governance will ensure that there is accountability besides creating an environment that will provide a room for others to improve. He says that clients are central to identifying safety and quality issues and solutions that must be implemented within an organization or an institution.Accreditation detailsChambers (2007) argues that hospital endorsement is very important. According to him, this is one of the indicators that a heath care institutions is operating in the set standards. He says that the set standards may include such things as ensuring patient safety and overall service delivery to a patient. Meya (2012) points out that there are two types of accreditations in the health sector. One of them is home based accreditation. This accreditation takes place within a country. The second one is the International health care accreditation. This is given to hospitals that meet the international standards. Therefore, attaining accreditation will be an objective that H ward in Jacaranda Hospital will strive to achieve. This will only be achi evable if patients and other stakeholders give a positive response in terms of hospital performance. Jacaranda Hospital, will make sure that patients are given utmost care, and their needs are addressed accordingly.Quality and patient safetyWhenever patients are accorded high quality services and utmost care, the reputation of the hospital amongst the patients goes up. According to White (2010), poor performance and practices in a hospital need to be gotten raid off. Therefore, H ward in Jacaranda Hospital will endeavor to create a sense of achievement amongst the nurses and other workers. Sublime Elements in Of Love and Other Demons Essay
Sublime Elements in Of Love and Other Demons The book Of Love and Other Demons (1994), written by the Columbian Gabriel Garcia Marquez, has more characteristics of sublime literature than of magical realist literature. Magical Realism and the sublime are so closely related that distinguishing between the two is hard. They are more closely related than magical realism and the fantastic. Of Love and Other Demons has elements of magical realism. Of all the magical elements, the most important and the most obvious is the dream that is shared by both Sierva and Delaura before they meet. The long red hair of Sierva is an example of a magic realist element that is hidden. The death of Father Aquino and other mysteriousâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦they also partake of a dreamlike quality which aligns them with a host of other magical realist devices and motifs (Theim 237). This device is also similar to Weiskels third phase of the sublime, the reactive phase (qtd in Sandner 52). During this time, the mind recovers the balance of outer and inner by constituting a fresh relation between itself and the object (qtd. in Sandner 52). Another way in which the story may correspond with the sublime is Siervas long red hair that had not been cut from the day she was born until the end of her excorcism. Wordsworth says, about the sublime, Even in the scenes drawn from ordinary life, [the authors] would throw over them a certain coloring of the imagination (qtd. in Sander 60). This effect is exactly what Marquez does with Siervas hair. He alluded that there may be something supernatural about it. The sublime affirm[s] a spiritual dimension to fantasy and explores, through fantastic images, the meaning and existence of spirit (Sandner 145). Transformation, another sublime characteristic, is used to show how ones perception of something changes (qtd in Sandner 51). Instead of being just hair, it was a promise to Domingas god. Defamiliarization, which is a characteristic of both the sublime and magical realism (Simpkins 150), is used in Of Love and Other Demons.
